Magic Time Farms

I picked this up from New Vansterdam (www.newvansterdam.com) on one of my "I'm writing a bunch of reviews and am going to buy at least 11 different strains" binges, completely out of left field. It's a 70/30 Sativa leaning hybrid. For newbs- this just means that 70% of this hybrid is a sativa strain and 30% is indica. The buds were bright green and smelled skunky, gassy and fruity all at the same time. After the first few inhales, the smoke became smoother and smoother which was great because I just HATE when I choke the entire smoke.

Initially, I felt the indica come through in the beginning as it was completly relaxing. I was just chillin listening to one of my all time favs, Damien Rice and I became concerned since the reason I chose to smoke this strain was being too tired. That's when the sativa started creeping up on me and I realized I wasn't tired at all anymore. The best part was that the relaxed feeling still remained and along with it came a slight pressure behind the eyes; however, it was not enough to make you feel very tired. Just kind of like, "hello, you're high and it feels n-i-c-e."

After surpassing the indica portion of the self-rolled joint, came the undeniable sativa effects. While a body high remained, it was very minimal and there was also very minimal bouts of intense energy. In that regard the hybrid properties began showing through even though this leans more to the sativa end of the pot meter.

Medical patients will especially be happy, for this strain affords prime daytime smoke properties combined with an anxiety reducer and mild pain reduction. I would probably even try this strain if you had a headache. Something tells me that its properties would cure a pesky headache in no time. I'd give it a 9 for relaxation and a 4 for energy...Overall score 8/10! Great cultivation Magic Time Farms!
